Bruce Irons eyes comeback

Bruce Irons, the younger brother of the late Andy Irons is ready to make a comeback to the WSL. His manager girlfriend has entered Bruce into a bunch of contests but unfortunately he has little chance of getting in due to not having enough seeding points. Just like Dane Reynolds, without wildcards into events that matter Bruce has virtually no chance of qualifying. The WSL confirmed that Bruce Irons recently submitted paperwork to compete in several professional surfing events but also stated that five of the eight events are unlikely to include him. Bruce showed off his natural surfing ability at the 2015 Volcom Pipe Pro when he scored a 9.60 on his first wave! While I’m all for a Bruce Irons WSL comeback, I think he would be better off taking the Shane Dorian route and focus on riding huge crazy waves.
